Family Weekend 2026 registration is NOW OPEN!  Please note that registration will close on Sept. 25th at 5:00 OR until we are sold out, whichever comes first.  We have sold out in previous years, so we do advise to register early while supplies are available.  Football game tickets, t-shirts, and tailgate tickets are all sold separately.  

****All event times for Saturday are tentative until the football kickoff time is announced. Due to TV contracts, this may not be announced until 12 days prior to the game.  This is beyond the control of New Student & Family Programs, University Athletics, or Georgia Southern University****

About Fall Family Weekend

• Fall Family Weekend is open to families of any current Georgia Southern student on ANY of our five campuses. The event is not limited to families from our Statesboro campus.
• Members of the Parent & Family Association (PFA) receive a $5 discount on general admission and tailgate tickets each. To join the PFA, click here.
• We ask that packages be purchased for children 8 and older. Unfortunately, we do not offer youth t-shirt sizes.
• Every effort will be made to hold events rain or shine. Some events may be canceled in the event of severe weather.

What’s Included in the Family Weekend General Admission Package?

• Admission to the Taste of Downtown on Friday, October 9th
• Admission to the Family Weekend Silent Auction
• Admission to Sunday Brunch
• Free admission to use the Recreation Activity Center throughout the weekend
• Free parking at the Russell Union
• Free access to shuttle from tailgate to Paulson Stadium
• Access to discounted football ticket link. This will be emailed to you in your registration confirmation email.  
• Parent and Family Association members also get access to the PFA Scholarship Breakfast and Bi Annual Meeting
• All general admission tickets also receive a Family Weekend branded clear stadium bag
• Parent and Family Association members will also receive an additional free branded gift
